Matthew Cole

Matthew Cole ist in zahlreichen Pro­jekten aktiv: Neben seiner Tätigkeit als Co-Director für Carmen la Cubana am Théâtre du Châtelet war er Regisseur und Choreograf bei Sweet Charity, Resident Director bei The Railway Children am King’s Cross Theatre, bei der UK-Tour der West Side Story sowie bei der UK-Tour des Take-That-Musicals Never Forget. Als Choreograf verantwortete er Produktionen wie Flashdance (UK-Tour und internationale Tournee), The Night Pirates (UK-Tour), The Producers (China- und Asien-Tour), Lovesick (New York City Workshop und Berkely Repertory Theatre Kalifornien),Footloose (UK-Tour und internationale Tournee), The MGM Story (Upstairs at the Gatehouse), Little Shop of Horrors (UK-Tour), Footloose (UK-Tour), Bette Middler and Me (Edinburgh Festival und UK-Tour), Amour (Royal Academy of Music), Vampirette (Manchester Opera House), Angelina Ballerina The Musical (UK- und Australien-Tour),The Road to Qatar (Landor Theatre und Edinburgh Festival) sowie Märchen­stücke wie Aladdin, Cinderella und Jack and the Beanstalk (Qdos Enter­tainment). Für die BBC begleitete er Strictly Come Dancing als Assistant Choreographer.In Miami schuf er im Auftrag von Jean Ann Ryan Productions zwei neue Shows für Kreuzfahrtschiffe.

Selbst auf der Bühne stand Matt Cole in Saturday Night Fever, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Miami Nights, Cats, Chicago, Guys and Dolls, The Rocky Horror Show, Zorro, They’re Playing Our Song, Candide und Priscilla Queen of the Desert. Im Fernsehen konnte man ihn bei Children In Need und Comic Relief auf BBC sowie bei The Royal Variety Performance und The Paul O’Grady Show auf ITV erleben.
